[Automated digital superimposition of the 3D model and archival photographs of full removable dentures in forensic dentistry]. / Avtomatizirovannoe tsifrovoe issledovanie v sudebno-stomatologicheskoi ekspertize dlya sopostavleniya ob"emnoi modeli i arkhivnykh fotografii polnykh s"emnykh protezov.

THE AIM THE STUDY: The purpose of the work is to perform automated alignment of two-dimensional archival photographs of the first prosthesis and a digital model of the complete removable prosthesis by superposition in order to determine or deny their possible belonging to one user. MATERIALS END METHODS: The superposition was carried out in the Exocad program (DentalCAD 3.0 Galway) using the standard 2D-3D alignment algorithm of the «SmileDesign¼ module; in the same program. In addition, Keynote and Fusion 360, and Autodesk programs were used. Statistical measurements were carried out at the statistically significant level of p<0.05. RESULTS: A comparison of four different-angle and different-scale photographic images of a removable denture of the upper jaw teeth with a three-dimensional copy of the same version of the prosthesis of the life physician of the royal family E.S. Botkin was made. When superimposing a digital three-dimensional model and a two-dimensional photograph of the original prosthesis with marked anthropometric points (n=51), 21 of them coincided or touched each other (41.2%). Another 26 points were located side by side (distance up to 1.5 mm) (50.9%) and 4 did not coincide (distance >1.5 mm, but no more than 3.5-4 mm) (7.8%). When the reference points were combined, the contours, the configuration of the relief and the peripheral boundaries of all three objects mostly coincided. The linear longitudinal and transverse dimensions of the bases of the prostheses also mostly coincided. The exception was the distal border of the bases, and the level of the cutting edges of the anterior artificial teeth, where complete coincidence was not observed, due to differences in the degree of erasability. CONCLUSION: Comparison of the original prosthesis from Ipatiev's house and its stereolithographic model was a test for the accuracy of the matching method used. The stereotype of the compared images is proved and the consistency of the possibility of computer combination of three-dimensional and two-dimensional objects is confirmed. The use of traditional methods of forensic identification and evaluation of the results by methods of mathematical statistics allowed us to conclude that the two different complete removable dentures of the upper jaw depicted in the photographs belong to one user.

[Development of combat medical robots in the US Armed Forces].

The current article is dedicated to the problem of scientific research organization in the field of combat medical robots development in the US Armed Forces. The role of the Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center is singled out. The project A Robotic System for Wounded Patient Extraction and Evacuation from Hostile Environments is described in more detail. It is noted the high cost of such technical systems development and operation.

[Information analytical support of the US Armed Forces Medical Service at the theater of operations (review of foreign online publications)].

The current article is dedicated to the modern state of information analytical support of the US Armed Forces Medical Service at the theater of operations. It is shown that at the present time for that purpose it is employed the Joint Theater Medical Information Program (TMIP) which integrates all medically significant information in a single system. The described program covers the whole evacuation chain, specifically, wounded registration on the battle field, treatment conduction at the stages of evacuation, including the aeromobile evacuation, treatment and rehabilitation at specialized establishments in the United States, subsequent veteran care after retirement. It also provides paperless documents circulation and telemedicine needs, takes into consideration the certain Armed Forces components peculiarities, satisfies the information analytical requirements of the commanding body of the medical service. The main TMIP subprograms are introduced, namely: AHLTA, TMDS, MSAT, TMIP-M, MMM, TC2, NCAT, and the basic providing and supporting unit DHIMS is described. Finally, it is mentioned that currently the TMIP project starts to be used not only on the battlefield but at the garrisons as well and it is supposed that it will gradually expand to the entire national health care system.

Some of its quantitative characteristics as a user tool for the access to information resources of the Kirov Academy are given. The description of the site structure and its pages are presented. The requirements for information materials submitted for posting on the site are set out. The data of webometric ranking of Russian institutions of higher education and research institutes are analyzed, the location of the Academy web site in this rating is shown. The areas for further improvement of the Academy web site, its structure and services are stated.

The reform of medical service of the RF Armed Forces has objectively required the conduction of quite definite changes and military and medical statistics as an applied science, the teaching subject and field of practical activity of medical service. The results obtained during analysis of experience of the Armed Forces personnel medical support for the last years have shown that it is necessary to widen the scope of military and medical statistics applications by military physicians, medical specialists of medical service head-quarters in the form of their informative and statistic activity which is one of the integrated part of medical service in military men. The article presents the main results of military and medical statistics reformation, as well as principal trends of its further improvement.

Scientific generalization of the medical units maintenance experience in wars and armed conflicts of the second half of the XX century and at occurrence and liquidation of consequences of the extreme situations in view of further development of the military--medical science, its differentiation and formation of new scientific disciplines and theories. Justified necessity for medical service management theory in a relatively independent branch of the military medical service--medical science. The distinctive attributes of the scientific discipline are indicated. The definitions and the structure of the object and the subject of the theory of management of the medical service are given, and new laws are formulated. The purpose, problem and contents of management of the medical service as educational discipline is determined. Some questions of coordination of its fundamental and applied parts are discussed.

The new requirements to the military medico-geographical researches, to contents and structure of military medico-geographical descriptions are considered, caused by evolution of global geopolitical situation, by occurrence of the modern information technologies, the geographical information systems, by development of the medical ecology and information medical service. Principles of the concept of the ecological military-medical geography are proved. The priority problems and specific peculiarities of the units are stated. It is recommended wider use of the factor's approach and cartographic method to enhance the organization of medico-ecological maintenance of the Army and the Fleet personnel activity.

The article discusses the practical significance of medical registry in liquidation of catastrophe consequences. On the basis of summarized experience the authors propose a conception of statistic registry for cases of disaster medicine. They worked out a variant of a record card for the victims of catastrophes. There is a principal scheme for formation of registry information in aid posts and medical establishments.
